Our sweet little Luke is the spitting image of his Daddy and paternal Grandfather. If you don't see it then you must be a close relative and probably look like him too.

A 3-year-olds Reasoning

Just a few minutes ago, Lynnea was sitting at the kitchen table having some lunch. She was chatting to herself about this and that and freckles seemed to be the hot topic of the hour. I think I said something like "Mom has lots of freckles huh?. . . but not everyone gets them." Lynnea: "Why not?" Me: "Well, people have all different kinds of skin tones and our skin reacts differently to the sun." I was about to go into detail about how I have fair skin and more likely to freckle than other people, but Lynnea blurted out, "Black Mommys don't have freckles." Then she cocked her mouth to the side and continued. "Cause freckles on black mommys don't show up very well." I tried not to laugh, but her delivery was so cute and well, Lynneaesque. I just love this little gal.
